Kelvion Thermal Solutions SAS is part of Kelvion (former GEA – Heat Exchanger segment) which is one of the leading global manufacturers of heat exchangers. Kelvion has one of the world’s largest product portfolios in the field of heat exchangers (plate, shell and tube and finned tubes heat exchanger; modular cooling tower systems). Thanks to many years of experience and in-depth expertise, our heat exchangers are designed specifically to meet the needs of the respective machine or equipment system, ensuring outstanding energy efficiency and reliability in any market segment. This gives our customers a cutting-edge over their competitors while also reducing operating costs over the long term.
Since 2007, Kelvion Thermal Solutions has pushed a lot on innovation by creating a dedicated R&D team with the target to launch on the market a new product every two years. R&D is now a clear axis of the company to differentiate from low cost competitors. To facilitate product development, one part of R&D strategy is to participate to collaborative projects. DIESTA & CAFEE (listed hereafter) are examples of such successful co-development.
The R&D team is composed of a wide scope of competences including project management, thermal, mechanical, welding and manufacturing expertise. Kelvion management is fully involve in R&D projects thru a dedicated R&D process including monthly reporting and gate meetings for decision making.
Kelvion will be responsible for the conceptual design and optimization of the air-cooled condenser and the recuperative heat exchanger. Kelvion will work closely with Vienna University of Technology (TUW) on testing of the heat exchangers.
